Olia Hercules - Cooking & Conversation

Olia Hercules - Cooking & Conversation

Monday 21st May 7pm

We’re delighted to have Olia Hercules food writer, cook and author of best-selling Mamushka and Kaukasis, join us at The Picklery on 21 May where she’ll be taking over the tiny kitchen and cooking dinner.  This is a small and intimate event, with just 14 seats around the kitchen counter providing a lovely opportunity to watch olia cook, whilst you chat and eat as she cooks and serves her food.

The evening begins with a talk on Olia’s journey in food, and the style of fermenting and pickling she grew up with.  She’ll give a brief introduction to different techniques and ways to ferment before starting dinner.

Dinner is sharing feast of small plates and includes a glass of wine on arrival and a glass to accompany the first course.  A further selection of wines chosen by Olia including some interesting fizzes and orange wines will be available to buy by the glass, carafe & bottle.
Places are limited to 14, and you are seated on high stools around the kitchen counter.
